This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take part in a range of ongoing neonatal and paediatric research activities focusing on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research run by the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Research Group (PIDRG).
The PIDRG works in collaboration with partner organisations on studies with an aim to investigate treatments and prevention methods against diseases caused by antimicrobial resistant organisms. The AMR portfolio includes a series of clinical and observational studies investigating into microbes that cause disease and death in infancy. This includes studies looking at the impact of the use and consumption of antimicrobial therapy in different settings across the world, aiming to develop and deliver new treatments and guidelines for the management of infections in places with high emerging drug resistance.
The post holder will be primarily responsible the coordination and project management of the AMR research portfolio, including in the oversight of the PIDRG’s scientific and administrative research efforts and achievement of milestones and goals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive team member, with previous project management experience and a track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent, multi-site research studies.
